ABOUT US
It was the year 1911. In those days Punta del Este was a small
community clustered on the peninsula, populated by a few vacation
homes and a couple of small family-oriented hotels. Don Emilio Sáder,
Lebanese immigrant, moved to this nascent summer resort with his
father and brother and opened a general store and bar, Casa Sáder,
which became the meeting place where some of the first real estate
transactions originated that were to transform Punta del Este into a
world-class resort destination.
Starting in the 1950´s, Punta del Este experienced a remarkable
expansion that converted the small town into an important resort. In
1953 the Sáder family founded a real estate firm which has
participated in the development of the resort to this day, and thus
built an ongoing legacy in the community.
Luis Sáder, son of Don Emilio Sáder, is the Director of Sáder
Inmobiliaria. He is an active member of the community, was President
of the Association of Development and Tourism of Punta del Este and
founding member of SAFEMA and Sábalo, firms responsible for the
construction of several condominium buildings in the resort.
